Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week, 30 hours off-rota)
Salary: £30,104.76 per annum + 12.5% off-rota allowance (£3,763.10)
Requirements: Valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle

This role offers the chance to work alongside a CQC Registered Manager, providing exceptional, person-centred support. Your days will be filled with variety and challenges, making each one unique and rewarding.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Locality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of the individuals we support. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating support homes across multiple locations in Suffolk, including Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, and Garboldisham.

Your role will include:

  • Providing Person-Centred Support: Ensure that everyone receives personalised support tailored to their unique needs and preferences. This includes developing and implementing care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and support a team of dedicated support workers. Conduct regular team meetings, provide ongoing training and development opportunities, and foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living homes. This includes managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of care and support are consistently maintained. Conduct regular audits, address any issues, or concerns promptly, and continuously seek ways to improve service delivery.
  • Community Engagement: Promote active participation in the community by organising and supporting activities that encourage social inclusion and engagement. Work with local organisations and services to create opportunities for the individuals we support to connect with their community.
  • Crisis Management: Handle any emergencies or crises that arise, providing calm and effective leadership to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimise potential hazards.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for experienced Senior Support Workers, Team Leaders, or Assistant Managers who are committed to our values and passionate about making a difference. The ideal candidate will lead by example, prioritise workloads, and manage time effectively. Flexibility to adapt to work at multiple local homes is essential, as is being computer literate and capable of coordinating online rotas.
