At Dimensions, we are recruiting skilled support staff to work across multiple locations, providing high levels of care for adults with complex support needs.  The right candidate will be a strong team player with experience in positive practice leadership, supporting adults who experience behaviours of distress, and service development.  Contributing towards assessments of needs and gathering behavioural data, your role will involve working in conjunction with the Locality Development Manager, relevant professionals, and family members to help develop personalised support plans and skilled support teams.

Complex Support Practitioner skills and qualities:

  • A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Experience in supporting individuals who experience behaviours of distress is essential for this role.
  • Must hold an Intermediate Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it.
  • Experience in positive practice leadership.
  • Good working knowledge of active support.
  • Experience in supporting complex behavioural needs.
  • IT literate.

Complex Support Practitioner duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting people to learn and develop skills.
  • Assisting the people we support with many different aspects of their lives.
  • Contribute towards the development of support plans care packages.
  • Demonstrate positive practice leadership and support colleague development.
  • Work flexibly with multiple location to support growth and continuity.
