Who will I be supporting?

  • A lovely lady in her 20s, who has a mild learning disability and epilepsy, who is supported to live independently in her own home
  • She loves going to Dreamboys shows, gigs and concerts – she’s a fan of pop music, reggae and hip hop, and her favourite artists are Little Mix, Sean Paul and N-Dubz
  • She has a brilliant relationship with her family and loves spending time with them each week
  • She also loves a day out shopping in Primark and visiting the cat café for a coffee
  • She loves animals and has a hamster called Oreo
  • She’s an absolute pleasure to support!

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting her to live her life how she chooses, to be herself and to achieve her goals
  • Sometimes she can lack motivation to do the things that she enjoys, so part of your role will be to provide friendly encouragement and motivation to get out and about doing the things she loves most
  • At home, she requires some support with her medication, cooking, cleaning, and laundry

What shifts are available?

  • Shifts start at 9am one day and finish at 9am the following day with a sleepover shift included between 10pm – 8am (sleepover shifts are paid at £45 per shift and don’t count towards your contracted hours)
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work/life balance
