Lead Support Worker - Full time 37.5 hours per week

As a Lead Support Worker, you will assist the Locality Manager and Assistant Locality Manager in maintaining a high quality of support, acting as a role practitioner, coaching and mentoring Support Workers and Relief Support Workers to ensure the people supported achieve the outcomes identified within their support plans.
This role involves you working in a large team, where we support seven people with various disabilities and high health needs. We support five ladies and two gentlemen to live the life they choose. They enjoy going out and about for walks, love listening to music, watching TV, teddies and chocolate - who doesn't! There is a mixture of communication levels within the house and a lot of manual handling is involved - wheelchair users and hoisting. They also need full support with household tasks and personal care.
Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
Shift Patterns - shifts can vary on a weekly basis to work around the people we support.
For example - 7am - 2.30pm / 2:30pm - 10pm alternate weekends and bank holidays. (These will be discussed at interview).
