Part-time, 15- 30 hours per week

Based in Hessle

This is a complex behaviour service and is better suited to experienced Support Workers

Are you an empathetic, non-judgemental person with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries? Are you able to motivate others in a consistent and calm manner?

We're looking for male Support Workers who are passionate about supporting adults to increase their independent living skills whilst facilitating positive community participation.

You will be supporting a gentleman who loves kickboxing and wants to join a gym. He has a learning disability and a forensic history and requires support in developing and understanding his emotions, developing effective ways to communicate his needs, developing empathy for the needs of others, understanding relationships and learning about and understanding his health needs.

This is a challenging and demanding role that requires you to draw on your compassion, resilience and a non-judgemental attitude. You will need a sound understanding of risk management and the ability to maintain appropriate structures and boundaries.

Full specialist training and support will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career!

Shifts are usually 8am one day until 8am the following day with a sleep in shift included. There is also the option of joining our waking nights team who typically work 10pm - 7am. We provide support 7 days a week.

If you have any questions or to discuss the role further, please call Kirsty on 07979 705 891.
