Are you an Experienced Support Worker wanting to make a difference in someone's life? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

About Person We Support:

We support a mischievous gent in his 20s who loves being out and about on public transport, watching films & TV (especially CBeebies) and going to the pub for food.

He has a learning disability, mobility issues, cerebral palsy & is non-verbal and we are supporting him to live in his own bungalow.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress – full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

An energetic support worker with a good initiative and a good sense of humour would be a wonderful match.

What will I be doing?

You will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses and to achieve his goals.
This gentleman is looking for support with daily tasks such as his personal care, wheelchair assistance, medication, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Shift Patterns:

Day Shifts:
9am – 6pm
Long Day Sleep Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day (£60 sleep in shift included)
Sleep In Shifts: 10pm – 7am
He is supported 2:1 during the day and 1:1 during the night
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work/life balance
