Procurement Administrator - 6 months fixed term

The Procurement Administrator will play a key role in delivering a high-quality procurement service to our colleagues and delivering value for money from our supply chain. In particular, they will support the business-wide adoption of our new finance system (Oracle) by undertaking system administration duties and providing responsive and friendly advice to our colleagues. 

A secondment opportunity can only be arranged with the consent of the employee and their line manager. Employees must obtain the agreement of their substantive line manager before applying for a secondment post.

Interviews will take place on the 7th March via Microsoft teams.

About the role 

Your main duties will include: 

  • Experience of using Oracle.
  • Dimensions have a small number of centrally managed contracts such as archiving of documents and our lease vehicles, the Procurement Administrator will be the point of contact for queries from the suppliers and colleagues.
  • The post holder will undertake scheduled routine tasks such as policy compliance audits and producing reports (mostly in MS Excel).

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Experience of ordering goods or services in a work environment
  • Intermediate level of using Microsoft products such as Word / Excel and Teams
  • Comfortable using corporate software for business processes and quick to learn
