Support Worker - New Opportunity!

Location: Bath

Salary: £9.50 per hour 
Full time and Part time available 

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a newly opened supported living setting in Bath. We are looking for hands -on Support Workers to support 5 independent young adults. As a Support Worker, you would be dynamic, innovative and promote independence among the people we support. Some of these young people may use the service as a transition period while some may stay for a number of years. The service is close to bus routes to the city centre and a lot of the support would be community based. 

Shift Patterns - 7:30am - 2:30 / 2pm - 10pm and sleep Ins (10pm - 8am /11pm - 11:30am)
These will be disucssed at Interview.

About you

Successful candidates will work well with the people we support with a person centered approach. No previous experience necessary.

  • people to use the toilet, feed and dress themselves etc.
  • Working in a supportive manner with colleagues, families and external parties, building trust by being open and honest.
  • Keeping some written records, using IT systems as required to help you, including support plans, financial info and health and safety records.
