Dimensions is an award winning, life changing, not-for-profit charity which promotes independence for every individual. We pride ourselves on being a values-based employer and if you are looking for a career in care – there couldn’t be anything more rewarding.

We support people with learning disabilities and autism, behaviours of distress, personal care, epilepsy, complex needs and much more. If you have a caring, kind and thoughtful nature, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for Support workers to join our amazing team we already have in place to work alongside and support 4 ladies who live in a beautiful supported living home based in Chandlers ford. They love to go out shopping, eating out, spending time in the sensory room available to them and they have beautiful gardens and are close to the countryside to go on lovely countryside walks.

We have full time positions available and have flexibility to offer part time for both days and waking nights. Shift times are flexible but the earliest you will start is 7am and the latest finish is 10pm. You will work on a rota basis and will have this 4 weeks in advance.

The role will involve:

  • Full support with personal care and Manual Handling
  • Meal preparation
  • Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
  • Supporting with medication
  • Supporting and encouraging people to take part in activities they like and enjoy
  • Being pro-active and thinking outside the box
