Support Worker Female

What You'll Be Doing As a Dimensions Support Worker

• Encourage and and empower the people we support so they may live their best lives - the lives that they choose
• Provide intimate personal care, prompting and mobility assistance when required (i.e., some of those we support use wheelchairs and hoists are used)
• Be actively - and enthusiastically - involved with every aspect of their daily lives, (i.e., supporting them with shopping, their hobbies and housework including cleaning and laundry), etc. 
• Administer medication, provide meal preparation support, and PEG tubes (if required)           

Who You'll Be Supporting

You'll be supporting four quiet, laidback ladies aged between 30 and 66 years who live in Cardiff. They all enjoy days out (they're hardly ever in!) and each person has their own individual care plan.

Shift Patterns/Hours

Shift patterns vary throughout the week. These can involve days, evenings, and weekends, along with sleep ins. These shifts will work on a rota pattern and can be discussed at interview

• A full UK drivers license is an essential requirement for this role.
