Who will I be supporting? 

  • A gentleman who loves Thomas the Tank Engine!
  • He is autistic and is supported to live independently in his own home
  • He loves walking for around 2-3 hours a day come rain or shine
  • He also enjoys watching older comedy shows, quiz shows, playing games, going to the library, shopping in charity shops and going to museums

What will I be doing? 

  • You will be supporting him to live his life how he chooses, to be himself and to achieve his goals
  • You will be supporting him to increase his independent living skills, which includes meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking cleaning and laundry
  • He is independent in terms of his personal care, but appreciates some friendly encouragement and reminders to complete his routines

What shifts are available? 

  • Days shifts from 8/9am – 5pm
  • 4pm – 11pm followed by sleepover shift
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance
