Support Workers needed for Waking Nights in the SO40/Totton area of Southampton. Full time and Part time shifts available. 
No Experience Necessary - Must have right to work in UK to be considered for this role.

Whether you have experience or not, we will help support you to reach your full potential by providing you with all the necessary training, guidance and support you need to complete your care certificate and further qualifications.

The 5 people we support live in their own bungalow in Totton and have variying needs and range in ages from 24 to 75 with learning disabilities, hard of hearing, dementia, epilepsy and mobility support is required.  During the day, they enjoy going to church, the local beach and the New Forest.  They also like listening to music of the 50s and 60s and enjoy intensive interaction.  Also they enjoy lots of arts and crafts, baking and karaoke.

If you have worked with people of advancing years or if you have experience of working with younger people previously this could be the job for you.

The role will involve:

  • You will be checking the people we support at regular intervals throughout the night to ensure they are comfortable.
  • Provide personal care when required.
  • Conduct housework, including cleaning and laundry.
  • You will keep records, using IT systems as required to help.
  • Updating support plans, incident log and health and safety checks.

Shift pattern: Fom 9:00pm - 7:30am.
