Support Workers - Waking Nights
Part-time, 24 hours per week
£10 per hour
This is a complex service and is better suited to experienced Support Workers
Are you an empathetic person who is wanting to support others to increase their independent living skills?
We have a fantastic opportunity available to join our friendly team in the S35 area of Sheffield where we're currently supporting a fabulous young lady with her day to day life. She has a learning disability, autism, requires support with her mental health and can display behaviours of distress. She is looking for an experienced Support Worker to join her Waking Nights team, working 24 hours per week. Her shifts start at 8pm and finish at 8am the following day.
As a Waking Nights Support Worker your main role is to support this young lady by encouraging health sleep routines and to provide any assistance that may be required during the night. You may also be providing support with personal care prompting, meal preparation, medication administration, grocery shopping and household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry.
This young lady loves to be active and enjoys walking, swimming and cycling. When she’s feeling creative, she loves creating art pieces.
