Are you looking for a career that allows you to make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of others? Have you been inspired by the empathy, commitment and compassion that social care workers have demonstrated over this last year? Do you want to join them?

We’re looking for people who may be new to the industry but have a determination and passion for supporting others to achieve their goals. We believe that if you share our values and you have an openness and willingness to learn, then you have the potential to make a fantastic Support Worker and we’d love to hear from you!

We are currently supporting a fabulous gentleman in his 30s who lives in the DL2 area of Darlington. He has a learning disability, ADHD and requires support with his mental health.

We’re looking for people who are patient, have empathy for others and can demonstrate good communication skills, to join his support team, working 24 hours per week.

Your role is to support him to achieve his goals, which includes engaging in the activities he enjoys. He’s an active young man who enjoys walking, swimming, going to the gym and going bowling.

He’s independent when it comes to his personal care but requires support with meal preparation, medication administration, grocery shopping and household tasks including cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Shifts start at 9:30am one day and finish at 9:30am the following day with a sleepover shift included. You may also need to be available for standby shifts. We’re looking for people who can work flexibly on the rota that includes weekdays, weekends and a share of bank holidays.

You will receive full training and support and you will have access to opportunities that could further develop your career.

There is free parking available for staff cars and good public transport links.
