Support Worker

Start your day knowing you'll make a difference - join our team of Support Workers in Spelthorne and create a positive difference that improves the life for the people we support.

You will be working in a supported living service from 9am - 5pm across 7 days on a rotational basis which will include every other weekend, supporting one gentleman with learning difficulties. We are looking for people who are positive, encouraging and proactive as you will be working on a 1-2-1 basis so lone working is a key part of the role. The gentleman we're supporting needs encouragement with his personal hygiene in a prompting capacity, assistance with his medication and general support around his home. We want to ensure he maintains good communication with his family and friends, keeps up to date with doctors appointments and gets out and about in the local community. A full time contract is 37.5 hours per week and the rate of pay is £9.12 per hour.

Dimensions are one of the country’s largest not-for-profit organisations supporting people with learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs and we are driven by our values.  People with learning disabilities and their families are at the heart of everything we do. Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations that are members of the Great Places To Work programme 2019, 2020 and 2021.
