Why join Dimensions?
The Opportunity
We are currently supporting a fabulous gentleman in his 40s in the DL1 area of Darlington. He enjoys fishing, cycling, rock climbing and he also passionately volunteers as a litter picker at the local sports ground.
He lives in his own home where we support him to maintain his independence. He has a learning disability and autism and is looking for a kind and friendly person to join his support team on a part-time basis, working 30 hours, plus 2 sleepovers per week. As well as being involved in the activities this gentleman enjoys, your role will be to support him with his food shopping and household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
His shifts start at 9am one day and finish at 9am the following day, with a sleepover shift included. Ideally, we’re looking for people who can work a combination of shifts on a rota that includes weekdays, weekends, and the occasional bank holiday. At Dimensions, we value a healthy work / life balance so you will receive your rota at least 4 weeks in advance, to support this.
There is free parking available at this gentleman’s home if you drive and good public transport links if not.
If you would like any more information about this role, please contact Ashleigh on 07908 470 026.
