Support Worker Waking Night 

Location: Newbury 

No Experience Necessary - Full Training Provided 

Full time and relief available 

We are recruiting for day and waking night Support Workers in Newbury.

You will support up to 6 people throughout the night regularly to ensure tthat they are comfortable, giving physical support and emotional reassurance when needed. This service is a very calming place to work, you may support someone to watch a film, or have a cup or tea during the night.
There is some personal care involved, assisting with medication administeration and monitor epilepsy. You will have to keep some written records including updating support plans, incidents log and health and safety records using our IT systems that you will be trained up on.

During the day time, the people we support are active and engage in various activities such as gardening, walks to parks, feeding the ducks, visits to shops, day trips and indoor activities such as baking, cooking, solving puzzles, reading and watching films. As a Support Worker, you will enable the people we support to live independently and help them achieve their goals. 

Shift pattern - From 10pm - 8am - and will include one on the weekend. This will be discussed at interview
