In this role you will be supporting 2 individuals in their own home in Weymouth with all aspects of their lives.

“CD” knows his own mind and would like people around him able to increase his ability to make choices, access the community, and find new things for him to see and do.

This will involve working with him all areas of his life including activities such as swimming, visiting national trust venues, having lunch/ice cream out, or activities in house such as BBQ’s, using his ipad, and spending time in the paddling pool.

Our second person is at the start of their adult life and this is their first adult home. You will be helping him to establish new routines, and help them grow and flourish.

Both people have learning disabilities and staff will be required to complete personal care tasks with the people we support. You will receive training in how to communicate in different ways such as pictures on a tablet, or Makaton sign language.

If you have a background in working for NHS, schools, or mental health then we would love to hear from you.

Enjoy attending rock concerts, swimming, ice creams, and are an empathetic person? Come and join our team.

The shift pattern for day work is 7:30am - 8pm, working alternate weekends (shift patterns can be discussed at interview), night shifts will run from 8pm to 7:30am.
