Who would you be working with:
We are looking to vacancy’s in two of our teams that support adults with learning disabilities who live in their own homes in either Southbourne or Kinson.
Southbourne (Male or Female worker)
This role will involve supporting three gentlemen in their 50s who live together in their own home. They enjoy a wide array of activities such as arts and crafts, visiting local parks and seeing musicals. Two of the gentleman use wheelchairs therefore they need support with manual handling and personal care (all training provided). It is a busy and lively place to work in, so you will be working in a team of 3.
Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support these can include 7.30am -14.30pm, 14.30pm – 21.30pm, 07.30-20.30, alternate weekends and bank holidays (to be discussed at interview).
Kinson (Female workers only, part time only)
This role involves supporting a lady in her 60's who lives on her own. She enjoys spending time in her car and going on road trips as well as music, tea parties, time in the garden and balloon play. There is an element of lone working during the morning and evenings but the majority of the day you will be working alongside another member of the team
Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support these can include 7.00am -13.00pm, 13.00pm – 20.00pm, 10.00-17.00, alternate weekends and bank holidays. Hours outside of 10.00-17.00 will be lone working (to be discussed at interview).
