Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care roles as full training is provided.

This role enjoys alot of one-to-one time with the gentleman you will be supporting, which allows you to build a fantastic relationships. This gentleman chooses what he wants to do with his day, part of your role as a Support Worker will be to promote and encourage this.

Activities Support Workers may be involved with include:

  • Getting out and about to the cinema, parks and exploring the local town
  • Going swimming or bowling
  • Making cakes and enjoying arts and crafts
  • Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include – but not be limited to – finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
