Part-time - 15, 22.5 or 30 hours per week

Who will I be supporting? 

  • A gentleman in his 60s who has a mild learning disability and schizophrenia
  • He lives in his own home and is supported 2:1  
  • He experiences complex behaviors of distress

What will I be doing? 

  • Support him to live his life how he chooses, to be himself, and to achieve his goals 
  • Provide encouragement and involvement in the activities he enjoys such as playing pool, going to McDonalds, going bowling, listening to music and train watching.
  • Support him with daily living tasks like prompting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, cooking, cleaning and laundry
  • Support him with his emotional and mental health needs, understanding his behaviours and supporting him to develop effective ways of communicating his needs

What shifts are available? 

  • 7am one day until 7am the following day with a sleepover shift included
  • Waking nights from 10pm – 7am
  • Short and long day shifts
  • Shifts are Monday - Sunday
  • Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance
