We’re currently looking for a fabulous Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team on a full time basis. This is a permanent position for 20 hours per week.  We’re looking for someone who is fully committed to providing outstanding care and support to others. In this role, it’s important that you are reliable, patient and do what you say you will do. Honesty and integrity is everything.

You will be supporting two ladies and three gentlemen to live an independent life in their own home within the village of Woodhall Spa. One of the ladies has poor mobility  and one of gentleman can communicate verbally. Other residents use basic makaton or use signs to communicate. Our clients enjoy a variety of activities from listening to music, walking to the park, shopping and going away for holidays.

As part of the role you will be expected to help them keep their home clean and tidy, support them to do their shopping at the supermarket and with personal care tasks and administering medication, all of which you will be trained to do. You will also be expected to drive clients cars so driving licence is essential for this role.

Shift Patterns

You will be joining an established team and will work as part of a rota which includes working mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins. This does include working weekends and bank holidays. You will work a set two week rolling rota which is planned around the needs of the people we support.
