Support Worker

If you're an experienced Health and Social care worker looking for a new opportunity and you genuinely love what you do and you're great at it, or you're a calm, patient, and a compassionate person looking to start a fulfilling career in this life-changing sector, then why not consider becoming a Support Worker with us here at Dimensions - we think our role in Keynsham is exactly what you're looking for!

At Dimensions, we recruit people based on their values, not just experience alone. So, if you share and champion our culture and principles, if you're keen to learn and commit to our fully-funded training programme, and you're sincere in wanting to make a positive and meaningful impact to those with learning disabilities and/or autism in your local community, then we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do as a Dimensions Support Worker

  • Empower and encourage the people we support so that they may live their best lives - the lives that they choose. You'll achieve this by being actively - and enthusiastically - involved with every aspect of their daily lives (i.e., supporting them with shopping, their hobbies, their housework, etc.)
  • Respectfully provide intimate personal care, prompting and mobility assistance if/when required (i.e., some of those we support may use wheelchairs and hoists, etc.)
  • Administer medications and PEG tubes (if required)

For further information about the role, our shifts, and the people we support, please contact Ludovic Leclerc on ludovic.leclerc@dimensions-uk.org

Why Choose Dimensions?

We not only care for the people we support, but we also care for - and value - our colleagues. With us, you'll find purpose and fulfilment, job security, great colleague benefits, genuine career and personal development opportunities, plus a diverse, inclusive and supportive environment.
