Support Worker

Have you ever wondered, "Is there a better job out there for me? A job with security that's both meaningful and rewarding? A job that offers flexibility, full training, and continual support? Does an organisation actually exist where I'll be truly valued for doing something I'm not only great at but genuinely love? The answer you're looking for is "YES!" and that job is here with us at Dimensions as our newest Support Worker.

Whether you come from a Health and Social Care background or you're looking to start a fulfilling career in this life-changing sector, then look no further than joining us as a Support Worker in Keynsham. We recruit people based on their values, not just experience alone. So, if you share and champion our culture and principles; if you're patient, compassionate, and resilient, and you're sincere in wanting to provide personalised support to those with learning disabilities and/or autism in your local community, then we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll do as a Dimensions Support Worker

  • Empower and encourage the nine people we support so that they may live their best lives - the lives that they choose. You'll achieve this by being actively - and enthusiastically - involved with every aspect of their daily lives (i.e., supporting them with shopping, their hobbies, their housework, etc.
  • Respectfully provide intimate personal care, prompting and mobility assistance if/when required (i.e., some of those we support may use wheelchairs and hoists, etc.)
  • Administer medications and PEG tubes (if required)
