Support Worker

At Dimensions, we're looking for a calm, warmhearted and upbeat person to support "Bob" in leading his best life - the life that he chooses to live. "Bob" is a gentleman in his mid-40s who resides in Radstock, and he's guaranteed to make your day! With a wicked sense of humour; a love of being outdoors and a passion for recycling and visiting the local tip more than any Womble, "Bob" is seeking a Support Worker just as extraordinary as he is to ensure he continues to lead a rich and fulfilling life.

Meet "Bob"

As our newest Support Worker based in Radstock, you'll ensure that "Bob" continues to receive the utmost sincere and respectful personalised support. As mentioned previously, "Bob" adores visiting the local tip - recycling is his most favourite thing to do in the world - he enjoys being out in his garden, and on an evening he often unwinds in front of the television watching football or the soaps.

"Bob" does not require mobility assistance nor support with feeding, however, he does require support in preparing meals. It's also important to note that "Bob" can demonstrate behaviours of distress; he will require an element of personal care (in particular assistance with shaving), and he is in need of a Support Worker who has a manual drivers license as whomever is lucky enough to support "Bob", they will be expected to drive his mobility vehicle.

So, if you're a driver, a bit of a comedian, if you're a keen recycler, up-cycler and/or skip-diver, and a lover of the great outdoors - but not a Sweeney Todd! - we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll do as a "Bob's" Support Worker

  • Empower and encourage "Bob" to live his best life by being actively - and enthusiastically - engaged in every aspect of his daily life
  • Respectfully provide intimate personal care and prompting when required
