Support Worker

Location - Redditch
Hourly rate - £9.60 per hour 
Hours - Full time (37.5), part time (flexible) and relief hours available

Whether you have worked in healthcare, mental health, autism, with behaviours of distress or maybe you have a background in retail, cleaning and coaching, this could be the career for you. Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health or Social Care as full training is given.

As a Support Worker no two days are the same as we encourage the people we support, to live the most independent life they can and help them make informed choices.

As a valued Support Worker, you’ll be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. We are looking for ambitious individuals of a caring nature to work for an award winning company where we promote independence in a supportive environment.

The Role will involve:

- Encouraging positive behaviours and building good relationship

- Walking and other forms of exercise

- Days trips and meals out

- Seeing friends and family

- Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include – but not be limited to – housekeeping, finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)

- Keeping written records, using IT systems to record daily notes, and be confident using our systems to record incidents 

- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
