Support Worker

At Dimensions, we know that deciding to become a Support Worker takes courage. But, with on-going, fully-funded training and mentoring, we can support you in realising your ambition to start a meaningful and richly fulfilling career in care. Don't let fear and social stigma stop you from getting the life-changing job that you deserve; a job that not only gives you job satisfaction and security, but one that also helps you make a positive impact every day in the lives of those with learning disabilities and/or autism in your local community.

The Role

As our newest Support Worker based in Witney, you'll have no costly commutes to worry about in these financially difficult times, as you'll be helping your colleagues support five ladies and gentlemen who share a home in this unique and interesting market town.

With on-going, fully-funded training and support from your team, you'll be empowered to provide fully-personalised care in a role that's no typical "9-5"; every day will provide you with new opportunities and challenges to help you grow both personally and professionally in a workplace environment that champions employee recognition; inclusivity, and the flexibility needed for a great work-life balance.

You'll be expected to encourage the people we support to live their lives to the fullest - the lives that they choose to live! - and you'll achieve this by being actively and enthusiastically involved in every aspect of their daily lives. You'll also respectfully provide personal care, prompting, meal support, and mobility assistance when required, as well as ensuring that the people we support are continually safeguarded from risks; therefore, you'll also be making sure they're forever happy and comfortable in a safe and sanitary environment.

For more information about this full-time role; available shifts, and the people we support, please contact Shelley Devitt on shelley.devitt@dimensions-uk.org
