SUPPORT WORKER
Location: Worcester (WR4)
Pay rate: £11.00 per hour
Hours: 30 hours contract
We have a wonderful opportunity for enthusiastic and compassionate support workers to join our team in Worcester! We support one gentleman and four ladies in their shared home. They range in age from 43-75 and have learning diability, autism, and some mental health need. Our lovely residents have varied interests which include their love for music, going to the disco, visiting Butlins for 80's weekend, taking long walks outdoors, reading magazines, and doing arts and crafts. They also love getting out in thier local community and going out for a nice meal.
Each day will be different but you will be supporting with medication administration, providing full personal care, meal preparation, and helping them to live their lives they way they choose to. Additional training will be provided for support with epilepsy and stoma bag care.
It is preferable you hold a full UK or EU driving licence for this role, but not a requirement (as the people we support have a Mobility Vehicle that their support workers need to drive for them – to be able to drive a Mobility Vehicle you need to have a full UK or EU licence).
