Seeking a unique, resilient and creative Support Worker in Radstock
We are looking for a proactive, confident, engaging and caring person to join a close-knit support team in Radstock. You will be supporting David, a gentleman in his late 40’s, with a learning disability, autism and specific sensory needs. With your support, David lives his best life - the life that he chooses to live.
To be part of David’s support team, you will need to follow his support plan closely and be able to work well with a team of supportive professionals to minimise behaviours of distress that David can experience. It is essential that you are able to drive so you can support David to access the places he enjoys.
At Dimensions, whilst we do believe it is who you are as a person – and the difference you can bring to lives of the people with disabilities – that is more important than experience, you do need to have a certain quality about you which, with the in depth training you will receive, will mean you can become an amazing support worker to David.
Shifts: David’s team work across a 7-day rota, which covers both day shifts and sleep-in shifts, to ensure his needs are met in a way that makes him feel safe and secure.
