Pay: £11.66 per hour / £45 per sleep-in shift
Positions: Full-time / Part-time contracts
Location: Hartlepool, TS24 (6 min Drive From University Hospital of Hartlepool)

Who Will I Be Supporting?

We support 8 individuals in their 30s-70s living in 2 shared bungalows with a range of interests. They love:

Trips to the Circus & Musicals
Going to the pub to watch the football
Socializing and dancing at the disco
Sewing and knitting
Holidays abroad

These individuals have learning disabilities, Down syndrome, epilepsy, and some do not use words to communicate. If you’re creative, a good listener who thinks outside the box, and love to chat, you’ll be a perfect match!

What Will You Be Doing?

Empowering Independence: Support them to live their lives how they choose and achieve their goals.
Daily Support: Assist with meal preparation, food shopping, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Providing Care: Help with medication, wheelchair assistance, and personal care routines.

Flexible Shift Patterns

Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day (includes £45 sleepover shift)
Long Day Shifts: 8am - 10pm
Waking Night Shifts: 10pm - 8am
Sleep-In Shifts: 10pm - 7am (Paid to Sleep)
Additional Shorter Day Shifts Available

This role includes a combination of weekdays and weekends. Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work-life balance, which we’re very passionate about!
