Waking Nights Support Workers
£10.45 per hour
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Night 10pm-7am
Do you want to go to work every night knowing that you’re making a difference; knowing that you’re supporting others to live their lives the way they choose? It takes empathy, compassion, and commitment to be a Support Worker and if these are qualities you already have, then we can provide you with all the training you need to set you up for a fantastic career in social care!
No previous experience is required. We just ask that you share our values of “respect”, “partnership”, “courage”, “ambition” and “integrity”, that you’re committed to learning, and that you strongly believe that everyone deserves to live the life they choose – if this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!
The people we support have learning disabilities and autism, and often they may have additional physical and mental health needs. The level of support you will be providing will vary depending on the person you are supporting.
During a waking night shift, you can expect to support people with their bedtime routines, provide physical and emotional support if they are wakeful, monitor assistive technology alarms, complete administration tasks and support with personal care, cleaning and laundry.
Dimensions are also proud to be one of very few social care organisations that have been recognised by the Great Places to Work programme in 2019, 2020 & 2021. As well as a comprehensive induction, full training and continued support from management, our colleagues have access to:
