About the role

We're looking for compassionate and reliable Female Support Workers to join our team in Keynsham (BS31), supporting 10 adults aged 20s–60s with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities.

This is a vibrant supported living service where you'll provide a mix of 1:1 and shared support, helping people build confidence, develop independence and enjoy meaningful experiences within their local community.

The people we support enjoy:

  • Swimming and bowling
  • Shopping trips and community outings
  • Movies, superheroes and music
  • Social events, BBQs and group activities
  • Voluntary work and structured routines
  • Making choices about their homes and lifestyles

Support includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, mobility support, community activities and helping people achieve their personal goals. Many individuals have communication needs and benefit from patient, consistent and personalised support.

Families are actively involved in the service, making positive relationship-building an important part of the role.

Shifts:

  • 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • 9:00am – 7:00pm
  • Long day + sleep-in: 10:00am – 10:30am (following day)
  • Sleep-in: 11:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
