A Great Place to Work in Adult Care Work

At this time of nationwide appreciation for people who work in adult care work, Dimensions is proud to be one of very few social care organisations awarded by the independent “Great Places To Work” institute. 

“Great Places to Work” is the world’s largest study of workplace cultures. It’s an audit of the practices that create an outstanding workplace culture, as well as a survey of employees’ views of their employer. 

As a result of feedback from our colleagues, Dimensions has been recognised as one of the UK’s best workplaces in the ‘super large’ category by the Great Place to Work Institute six years in a row.

Here are a few statistics that came from the survey where our adult care work colleagues were asked about working for Dimensions: 

  • 85% agreed that their work has a special meaning and is not ‘just a job’. 
  • 83% told us they feel a sense of pride when they look at what we accomplish. 
  • 84% told us that when joining Dimensions, they were made to feel welcome. 
  • 77% told us they were offered training or development to further themselves professionally
  • 80% agreed they can be themselves within Dimensions. 
  • 92% agreed they are treated fairly regardless of their religion, beliefs or non-religion beliefs.
  • 89% agreed they are treated fairly regardless of their race or ethnic origin.
  • 91% agreed they are treated fairly regardless of their disability
  • 93% agreed they are treated fairly regardless of their sexual orientation 
  • 80% agreed to feeling good about the ways Dimensions contribute to the community. 
  • 72% agreed that Dimensions is a great place to work. 

Colleagues Told Us
