About the role

We're looking for compassionate and reliable Female Support Workers to join our team in Market Drayton (TF9), supporting three adults aged 30s–60s with autism, Down's syndrome and learning disabilities.

This is a warm and welcoming service where you'll provide personalised 1:1 support, helping each individual maintain their independence, enjoy their interests and live life on their own terms.

The people we support have very different personalities and interests:

  • One lady enjoys her independence and values her own space
  • One lady is outgoing, sociable and loves shopping and community activities
  • One gentleman enjoys Doctor Who, familiar routines and spending time with people he knows well
  • They thrive with support that is consistent, respectful and tailored to their individual needs.

Support includes:

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Meal preparation and healthy routines
  • Medication administration
  • Supporting routines and independence
  • Mobility support, including wheelchair use for one individual when out in the community
  • Community activities and social engagement
  • Building positive, trusting relationships

There is currently no direct family involvement, but you'll be part of a supportive and experienced team that values communication and consistency.

Shifts:

  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Long day: 10:00am – 10:00pm
  • Sleep-ins: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
