About the role
We’re looking for a female Support Worker to join our team in Garboldisham, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week, option to extend weekly hours to 45, subject to business needs. paying
You'll be supporting a friendly and sociable woman in her 30s who loves spending time with family, having a laugh, and making the most of every day. She enjoys cooking and baking (especially chocolate treats!), arts and crafts, swimming, bowling, listening to Heart FM, and getting out and about in her local community.
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping her live the life she chooses, promoting independence, choice and control in all aspects of daily life. Your support will include assisting with personal care, medication administration, meal planning and preparation, household tasks, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. You'll also encourage and support her to pursue her hobbies, build confidence and develop skills. These are core responsibilities of the Support Worker role.
We're looking for someone who shares our values, can work in partnership with family members and colleagues, and is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and live fulfilling, independent lives. No two days are the same, but every day is an opportunity to make a difference, celebrate achievements, and support someone to live a life filled with choice.
Shifts - 8:00am-10:00pm and 8:00am-9:00pm. Support is provided as part of a team, with only a small period of lone working (8:00pm-9:00pm). The role includes working every other weekend.
About you
You’re caring, fun, and ready to help someone live their best life. You’ll bring energy, patience, and a positive attitude, with the ability to explain things clearly and repeat when needed. A full UK driving licence and your own car are essential. If you’re reliable and love making everyday matter, we’d love to hear from you.
