We are looking for Relief Support Workers to provide flexible support across four supported living homes in Aylsham, Reedham and Hellesdon. You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live great lives. Every day is different and could include:

  • Supporting people with personal care, medication and daily living tasks
  • Helping people access their local community, attend appointments and enjoy hobbies and interests.
  • Supporting with shopping, cooking, household tasks and managing finances.
  • Building communication and meaningful relationships with people who do not use words to communicate.
  • Encouraging independence, choice and control in all aspects of daily life.
  • Working across a variety of homes, supporting established teams when additional cover is needed.

The people we support enjoy a wide range of interests including swimming, shopping, arts and crafts, café visits, holidays, walks, bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Relief colleagues provide flexible cover across: early shifts, late shifts, long days, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays

About you

We're looking for individuals who share our values and are passionate about supporting people to achieve their goals. You will:

  • Have a caring, positive and can-do attitude.
  • Be flexible and able to work across different homes and shift patterns.
  • Enjoy building positive relationships and working as part of a team.
  • Be confident supporting people with varying needs, including personal care.
  • Have good communication skills and be willing to learn different communication styles.
  • Have basic IT skills for record keeping and training.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for people with the right values, enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference.
