About Dimensions
At Dimensions, we pride ourselves on being one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit providers of support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Our purpose is simple: to create better lives for the people we support and for our colleagues. As part of our team, you’ll join a workplace built around respect, inclusion, career growth, and the genuine ability to make a real difference every single day.
About the role
You will be supporting four adults, three women and one man, aged between 30 and their mid-40s, who live together in a busy home in Harston. Each person we support has learning disabilities, autism, behaviours of distress and those with complex health needs and they rely on their support team for support with daily living. This includes personal care, PEG feeding, medication administration, and mobility support.
Life in this home is active, structured, and extremely rewarding. The people we support love getting out and about, and you will actively take part in their interests with them. Swimming is a big part of their weekly routine, so you must be comfortable getting into the water. They also enjoy bowling, art therapy, cinema trips, gym sessions, meals out, video calls with family, Thursday community centre groups, and regular social events. Holidays have included cottage breaks and there is interest in future trips abroad. Some individuals also attend private physiotherapy sessions that you will support them to participate in.
This is a role where teamwork really matters. Because support needs are high, colleagues depend on one another throughout each shift, communicating clearly and working in a consistent and professional way.
