About Dimensions

Every day is an opportunity to create impact, joy, and independence for the people we support. Your work, whether direct, or behind the scenes, contributes to unforgettable moments that change lives.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

You will support a witty young lady in her 30s who loves her football, music and being around her family, especially her nieces. She's a passionate gamer, loves to shop, and enjoys getting out and about for activities such as crazy golf and bowling. She is also a big animal lover and enjoys spending time around animals whenever she can.

We are supporting this young lady to live independently in her own home. She is autistic, has a moderate learning disability, epilepsy and needs our support to live her life how she chooses and achieve her goals.

A support worker who loves animals, enjoys activities like crazy golf and bowling, and likes to have a laugh or be a little daft would be a wonderful match. Someone with a great sense of humour, a positive outlook and who doesn't take life too seriously will fit right in.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when she is experiencing behaviours of distress. Full Positive Behaviour Support training is provided, although previous experience would be beneficial.

She will need support with her medication, food shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. She can complete her own personal care routines but appreciates some friendly encouragement and gentle prompts.

Shifts:

10am-10am (including a £50 sleepover shift) – Potential to only work 2 to 3 days a week depending on shift patterns.
Sleepover shifts - covers hours between 11pm -7am
11am-7pm day shift for 2:1 support – Can be flexible to an earlier finish depending on activity or plans.
This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends.
