About Dimensions

Dimensions is a not-for-profit organisation that supports autistic people and people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent and connected lives. Every person we support is unique, so we design personalised support that helps them make choices, build confidence and enjoy the everyday things that matter — from relationships and hobbies to work, health and having fun.

Across England and Wales, our 7,000 colleagues work alongside families, professionals and — most importantly — the people we support to create healthier, happier, more independent lives. Whether someone needs full-time support, help managing complex needs or just a few hours each week, we focus on dignity, inclusion and giving people a real voice in shaping their own support.

When you join Dimensions, you join a team dedicated to making better lives for more people — every single day.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

Welcome to Glasfryn 5 in Brackla — a lively, upbeat home where every day brings something different! We support four fantastic gentlemen in their 20s–50s, all with their own personalities, routines and interests. Some are autistic, some are hard of hearing, and communication varies from spoken words to simple signing — but what they all share is a love of fun, connection and feeling understood.

You’ll be supporting with day-to-day routines, social opportunities and helping each person live life in the way that feels best for them. There’s no personal care, but plenty of meaningful interaction and gentle guidance. Expect a mix of activities: gaming sessions (Harry Potter fans welcome!), film nights, trips to their social club, family visits and the occasional household chore. This is also a home that loves a celebration — think Halloween, Easter and any excuse for a party.

The house itself has a great atmosphere, and one gentleman’s pride and joy is his hot tub — supporting him with this is a regular highlight!

Shifts vary, including occasional 3pm–3pm with a sleep-in, plus a blend of daytime and evening patterns.

If you’re upbeat, patient and enjoy bringing joy to everyday moments, you’ll fit right in.

About you

You don’t need previous experience to become a great Support Worker — what matters most is your attitude. We’re looking for people who are patient, positive, kind and genuinely motivated to help others live well. If you’re someone who listens, encourages independence, enjoys being part of an active team and isn’t afraid of getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be someone who values dignity, choice and inclusion, and who brings calmness, resilience and creativity to your work — whether that’s helping with personal care, supporting communication, joining someone for a favourite activity, or enabling someone to feel safe and confident throughout their day.

Training, Development and Career Opportunities

Working for Dimensions is rewarding, meaningful and offers genuine career progression. Within your first 12 weeks, we’ll fund and support you to complete the Care Certificate, which is essential for anyone working in health and social care.

Through our City & Guilds accredited qualification centre, you can work towards diplomas and recognised qualifications — and in some cases earn a financial bonus on completion.
