About the role

We’re looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in WR5, supporting five individuals aged 20s–60s with learning disabilities and additional health needs.

This is a vibrant, active home where every day brings something different. You’ll play a key role in supporting people to maintain their independence, follow meaningful routines and enjoy a full and active lifestyle.

Who you will be supporting

The people you’ll support enjoy a mix of active and relaxed lifestyles, including:

  • Hydrotherapy and swimming
  • Theatre and cinema trips
  • Holidays, including trips to the seaside in the UK and Spain
  • Community outings and social activities
  • Quiet, leisure time at home

Family involvement is strong, so building positive, respectful relationships is an important part of the role.

What you will be doing

Your role will be varied, hands-on and rewarding. You’ll support with:

  • Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
  • Meal preparation and feeding support, including PEG
  • Medication administration, including insulin and epilepsy protocols
  • Mobility and hoisting support
  • Supporting daily routines and independence
  • Encouraging participation in activities and outings
  • Supporting health and wellbeing

You’ll be part of a supportive team that works together to ensure consistent, person-centred care.

Shift patterns

This is a 37.5-hour role with a mix of day shifts, including:

  • 7:00am – 7:00pm
  • 7:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Rotas are provided in advance to support work–life balance.
