About the role

We’re looking for enthusiastic, positive and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Trowbridge (BA14), supporting four individuals (two men and two women aged 30s–50s) with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs.

This is a highly rewarding role where you’ll provide 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping people live fulfilling, active and meaningful lives. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, energy and a proactive approach.

Who you will be supporting

You’ll support four individuals with a range of complex needs, including:

  • Profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)
  • PEG feeding (for two individuals)
  • Epilepsy (managed with medication)
  • Suction and additional health care needs

Support needs include:

  • Personal care
  • Hoist use and manual handling
  • Wheelchair support for all individuals
  • Support with eating and PEG feeding
  • Medication administration

What you will be doing

Your role will be varied, hands-on and meaningful, including:

  • Providing high-quality personal care and support
  • Supporting complex health needs (full training provided)
  • Using hoists and supporting mobility safely
  • Preparing meals and supporting feeding requirements
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting activities, outings and hydro sessions
  • Encouraging engagement, comfort and wellbeing
  • Working closely with your team to deliver consistent care

Shift patterns

This is a 37.5-hour role with a mix of shifts:

  • 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Long day + sleep-in: 9:00am – 9:00am (next day)
  • Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

Rotas are provided in advance to support work–life balance.
