Confident Leader and Mindful Employer, we offer wellbeing resources, flexible working, and career growth through Aspire, giving you everything you need to thrive – and be you.
We are recruiting for amazing Support Workers in Wakefield. We’re looking for someone who has experience working with people who present complex behaviours.
We support a fantastic gentleman with a diagnosis of Autism and learning disabilities. He loves his comedies and slapstick movies and has a collection of soft toys he uses to express his mood and feelings. You will get to meet the 'whole furry friend family' as you get to know him. He enjoys being out and people watching in local cafe's and visiting market towns. With the right positive behaviour support (which he really benefits from), you’ll help him enjoy the things he loves most and keep those good vibes flowing!
The top 5 things most important to the person we support:
- That you care about me.
- That you are happy to do activities with me
- That you are calm
- That you are understanding
- That you help me be independent
