About Dimensions

At Dimensions, you'll find more than a job – you'll find purpose, belonging, and the support to thrive. Your voice matters, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your growth is celebrated. Together, we make a real difference – for the people we support and for you.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026 — our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

If you're looking for a role where you can build meaningful relationships, work as part of a supportive team and help people achieve great outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic, positive and proactive Support Workers to join our team in Redditch (B97), supporting three gentlemen in their 30s with learning disabilities.

This is a rewarding and engaging service where person-centred support has helped significantly reduce behaviours of distress, enabling the people we support to live fuller, more independent lives. You'll play a key role in continuing that success by providing consistent support, building trust and promoting independence.

The people you support communicate using a variety of methods, including Makaton, sign language and assistive technology, so every day is an opportunity to learn, connect and make a genuine difference.

Who you will be supporting

The gentlemen you support enjoy leading active and social lives. Their interests include:

Walks and community outings
Shopping trips and pub meals
Theatre visits, cinema and bowling
Sports and music
Spending time with family and friends
Enjoying both shared activities and meaningful 1:1 time

Family involvement is important, and you'll help maintain positive relationships that support each person's wellbeing and independence.

What you will be doing

You'll provide a mix of 1:1, 2:1 and shared support, helping individuals live the lives they choose.

Your role will include:

Supporting daily routines and independence
Providing personal care for one individual
Preparing meals and supporting healthy eating
Following SALT guidance and support plans
Administering medication
Supporting communication through signs, gestures and technology
Encouraging participation in activities and community life
Following Positive Behaviour Support plans
Building positive, trusting relationships

Shift patterns

Shifts include:

7:45am – 10:00pm + sleep-in
8:00am – 8:00pm
Sleep-in: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)
Additional 1:1 hours to support activities and community access

Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work–life balance.

About you

You'll be a great fit if you're:

Positive, patient and calm under pressure
A strong team player who enjoys building relationships
Confident supporting behaviours of distress
Comfortable working independently and alongside colleagues
A good communicator with a proactive approach
Someone who enjoys having fun and getting involved
A confident manual driver

Experience is helpful but not essential — we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
