About the role

You'll be supporting three gentlemen aged in their 50s and 60s with learning disabilities in a vibrant shared home. This is a highly active service where no two days are the same.

The gentlemen enjoy:

  • Day trips to the seaside and countryside
  • Kayaking, bowling and gymnastics
  • Shopping, meal planning and budgeting
  • Gardening and growing vegetables
  • Music, movies and their Friday night disco
  • Attending appointments and being active in their community

Support includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and supporting one gentleman who uses a wheelchair and hoist. You'll also support people to attend medical appointments, manage their homes and maintain their independence.

Typical shifts include:

  • 7:00am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:00pm
  • Long days between 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Sleep-ins: 10:00pm – 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep)

About you

You'll be a great fit if you're:

  • Organised and able to support with planning and daily routines
  • A team player who enjoys building relationships
  • A driver with a full UK driving licence

Experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
