About Dimensions

At Dimensions, you’ll find more than a job. You’ll find purpose, belonging and the support to thrive. Your voice matters, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your growth is celebrated. Together, we make a real difference, both for the people we support and for you.

Thanks to our amazing teams, Dimensions Group has been accredited as a Great Place to Work for 2026, marking our eighth consecutive year of recognition.

About the role

We’re looking for caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team, working across five homes within the Portsmouth locality.

You’ll primarily support two gentlemen in their 60s and 70s who have mild to moderate learning disabilities and complex needs. One gentleman uses a wheelchair when out and about.

The gentlemen enjoy living active and fulfilling lives, with interests including music, films, puzzles, gardening, trips to the pub and shopping. You’ll support them to enjoy the things that matter to them, build independence and make the most of everyday life.

The role also includes providing full personal care, always with dignity, respect and choice at the heart of your support.

About you

You don’t just need to be caring. You’ll also need to be reliable, flexible and committed to providing excellent, person-centred support.

Due to the needs of the people we support, you must be able to:

  • Complete a minimum of one sleep-in shift per week
  • Work flexibly across early and late shifts
  • Work two weekends out of three, including Saturday and Sunday

Rewards that make a difference

  • A competitive payrate with uplift for overtime you chose to work

  • 30 days paid Annual Leave (including public holidays – pro rata)
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • Supported ‘Learn to Drive’ scheme (up to 30 driving lessons, 1 theory/practical test - all paid for by us)
  • We offer a salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you've earned before payday.
  • High Street Discounts – Retail and Entertainment (supermarkets, hospitality, pubs, cinema etc.)
