About the role
Are you a driver who enjoys variety, building meaningful relationships, and helping people live life their way? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.
You'll be supporting four gentlemen aged between their 40s and 70s, each with their own personalities, interests, goals, and support needs. You could be cheering on Cardiff City from the stands, heading to a local bingo club, enjoying a trip to a garden centre for coffee and cake, supporting someone at the gym or dance class, or simply accompanying someone on a walk to the local shop or pub.
As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support tailored to each individual. This includes encouraging independence, supporting communication, preparing meals, administering support with daily living tasks, and providing personal care where required. You'll also support people with varying needs including autism, epilepsy, sensory needs, and positive behaviour support.
You'll work as part of a friendly team covering a range of shifts, including long days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. As driving is an essential part of the role, you'll use the people we support's vehicles to help them access activities, appointments, and the things they enjoy most.
If you're patient, adaptable, have a good sense of humour, and genuinely want to make a positive difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
Shifts: 10am, Sleep In, 7am - 10am / 8am - 8pm / 9am - 9pm / Weekends
About you
You don’t need previous experience to become a great Support Worker — what matters most is your attitude. We’re looking for people who are patient, positive, kind and genuinely motivated to help others live well. You’ll be someone who values dignity, choice and inclusion, and who brings calmness, resilience and creativity to your work — whether that’s helping with personal care, supporting communication, joining someone for a favourite activity, or enabling someone to feel safe and confident throughout their day.
