Position: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Burghfield Common, RG7 (Just a 3 min drive from Willink Leisure Centre)

Who Will I Be Supporting?

Step into a rewarding role where you'll support 4 amazing ladies and 2 gents, aged 50s to 80s, in their shared supported living home. Our residents have learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, and complex needs. We're looking for a confident individual to help our residents during the night. They have a range of interests, such as:

  • Music & Dance: Enjoying regular visits from a music man and dancing the day away.
  • Creativity: Crafting beautiful necklaces, solving jigsaw puzzles, and engaging in various arts and crafts activities.
  • Outdoor Fun: Going to the cinema, taking nature walks, and embarking on social outings.

If you have a strong work ethic and are a motivated, friendly, and confident communicator, you’ll fit right in!

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Ensuring Safety: Conduct regular checks to ensure the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night.
  • Promoting Rest: Provide emotional reassurance to help residents maintain healthy sleeping patterns.
  • Night Support: Assist with personal care needs during the night, including bathroom assistance and changing clothes if necessary.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of activities and any incidents that occur during the night

Shift Patterns

Waking Night Shifts: 10pm - 8am

Rotas are provided in advance to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
