Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of three amazing ladies? If you have a passion for supporting individuals and want to bring joy and fun to their everyday activities, we want to hear from you!

About Us

At Littleport, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment. Our all-female home currently supports three incredible ladies aged between 30 and 50 who are ready to share their lives with you. They are independent and capable, needing just a bit of verbal support to thrive.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will empower our ladies to lead fulfilling lives. You'll be their partner in exploring new activities, whether it's planning a fun shopping trip, a cozy movie night, or a pampering session! Get ready for exciting outings to the local swimming pool, engaging music groups, or arts and crafts sessions. On Friday nights, you’ll even join in the fun at disco parties!

We believe that family connections are essential, so you'll help our ladies maintain strong bonds with their loved ones. They have regular sleepovers at home and enjoy visits from family, who often pop over for a cup of tea. You'll also provide minimal personal care support, including help with hair washing.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking enthusiastic female candidates who are proactive and ready to engage in active support. You should be open to exploring new activities and ready to encourage our ladies to embrace exercise—rain or shine, we love to walk instead of drive!

A valid driving license is essential for this role, as you'll assist with mobility and outings. Your support will be instrumental in helping our ladies feel empowered and supported in all their daily activities.

Shift Patterns

We offer flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle! You can expect shifts from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with options for longer days (sometimes 8 AM to 9 PM). You'll work every other weekend, either one long day or two short days, along with one or two sleep-ins per week.

Why Join Us? By joining our team, you will not only gain experience and skills in the field of support work but also become part of a supportive community where every day brings new challenges and rewards.

  • Competitive Salary.
  • 30 Days Annual Leave: Including bank holidays, with the potential to rise to 35 days based on length of service.
  • Pension Scheme: We offer a money purchase scheme with both employee and employer contributions to help secure your future.
  • Generous Sick Pay: Ensuring financial security if you’re unable to work due to illness.
  • 10% Overtime Enhancement: Earn more when you go above and beyond your contracted hours.
  • Sleep-in Payments: Receive £50 per sleep-in on top of your basic pay.
  • Paid Training: We invest in your development and offer financial bonuses for the completion of awards and diplomas.

If you’re ready to step into this fulfilling role and bring joy to the lives of these wonderful ladies, we can't wait to meet you! Come and join our fun team at Littleport, where your efforts will truly make a difference!
