Looking for a role that is as fun as it is rewarding? If you love chatting, laughing, and making someone’s day brighter, this could be the perfect job for you! We are looking for a Female Support Worker to support a wonderful lady in her late 50s who lives in her own home. She has a heart of gold, a great sense of humour, and a real zest for life!

Why Join Dimensions UK?
We are a values-led organisation that puts the people we support at the heart of everything we do. When you join us, you are not just taking on a job—you are becoming part of a supportive team that genuinely cares. You will receive full training, ongoing career development, and the chance to make a real difference in someone’s life every single day.

About the Lady You will Be Supporting:

She is super bubbly, loves a good chat, and enjoys playful teasing (so be ready for some cheeky nicknames!). She is a huge fan of shopping—especially for jewellery and clothes—and you will often find her out in her local community. She loves:

  • Cuddling her beloved teddy bears
  • Watching Emmerdale and Coronation Street
  • Listening to Bob Marley and singing along
  • Everything Disney!
  • Trips to the cinema and live shows

Family is everything to her, and she is very close to her sisters. Part of your role will be helping to maintain these important relationships by staying connected with them and supporting visits and calls.

What Your Days Will Look Like
Each day is different because she decides what she wants to do! Some days, she might want to bake a cake in the lounge, do a bit of arts and crafts, or simply relax and chat. Other days, she will want to head out for some retail therapy or a fun day in the community. In the evenings, she enjoys winding down with her favourite TV shows or listening to music.

She does need support with full personal care, as well as support with meal preparation, medication, and mobility (she uses a wheelchair, especially for moving between rooms and in the community). But most of all, she needs someone who will encourage her independence, empower her choices, and share in her interests and adventures.

Driving is not a requirement for this role, but if you do drive, free parking is available on-site. Public transport links are good, but ideally, we are looking for someone local to the area.
