Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Hours: 30 hours per week (8am-10pm, 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm)
Driver: Full UK driving licence essential with own car (Must be able to drive manual and automatic)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for a kind, patient, and enthusiastic female Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a wonderful woman in her late 20s living in a supported living home.

She enjoys singing, watching videos and DVDs, meeting friends and family, listening to music, and taking part in cooking. She also loves shopping, swimming (where you'll need to feel comfortable in the water), going to the cinema, theatre, and bowling, as well as enjoying evenings out. Your role will be to support her to continue doing the things she enjoys.

At Dimensions UK, we believe in delivering truly person-centred support. Our approach is all about understanding the individual’s interests, aspirations, and needs. We want to enable the people we support to live their lives as independently and happily as possible, ensuring they have control over their choices and decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting with her routine, ensuring her independence and choices are respected.
  • Assisting with personal care, including skincare.
  • Encouraging and supporting her passion for cooking.
  • Helping her maintain relationships with friends and family.
  • Being a dependable companion who promotes her well-being and happiness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A values-driven, compassionate person who enjoys supporting others.
  • A female driver with a full UK driving licence (essential for this role).
  • Someone who is patient, encouraging, and able to support her in living life to the fullest.
  • Experience in support work or care is desirable, but not essential – the right values and attitude are what matter most.
  • Someone who is adaptable and able to work flexibly to meet her needs.

Why Join Dimensions UK?

  • Competitive pay and benefits, including holiday pay and pension contributions.
  • A rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference every day.
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities to help you grow in your role.
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment where you are valued and respected.
  • The chance to work with a fantastic team dedicated to making lives better.

If you’re a caring individual with a passion for supporting people to live their best lives, we’d love to hear from you!
